My engine compartment cover opens, tilting forward with hinges at bottom. I'm thinking of putting a pair of lifting gas spring and new hinges so that the cover could be lifted upward for opening instead.
Has anyone done this on similar type of engine covers? I would love to learn more of others experience on this. Appreciated.
