Has anyone put a 135% Genoa on their H310? If so how did you fit the genoa tracks. Hunter notes that the boat was not designed for anything but the std head sail that comes with the boat.

You don't need tracks (maybe)

Jim Bohart flew up to Wisconsin to visit my wife and I this summer as he was standing on my new H310 (see owners photo form) told me that a 135% genoa would be the ideal set up on the 310 and that it could be flown well with out adding tracks. That, the cars on the stock tracks would have to be moved all the way aft and there would be no adjustment their. He also stated that adding the tracks would allow you to get full use of the sail. But then again, on the large inland lake that I sail on, I could get by just fine with out the tracks. I have a asym spinnaker that I use in light air and on down wind runs. It helps big time and Osession flys!!! but I need a small crew to fly the sail. I think that down the road I will get a 135%. I hope this helps you out some and you let me know what you end up doing. Steve, s/v Obsession on the hard for the next 5 months....

genaker is a good option

I fly a gennaker (UK sailmaker flasher) on my hunter 310 with superb results. I had it made for my past boat, a S-2 9.2C (I=40', J = 13') It is not a perfect fit as the hunter is a fractional rig. But it is close enough to be a big success. My gennaker is .75 oz. nylon and is 770 sq feet. (for comparison, a 150% genoa is 390 sq feet. I can only use it in winds less than 10 knots, but I can use it on a beam reach. A close reach gets tough. Bottom line: for about the same price as a genoa, a gennaker will get you a big colorful sail that loads of fun and flys you past other boats. TP
