Can someone tell me the correct routing of the 60' lazy jack line? There is no mention of it in my owners manual, except the length of the line.

Thanks

My Lazy Jack control line is continuos from one side of the boom to the other. On my 310, about 2 feet aft of the gooseneck, there is a cleat on both sides of the boom and then another 12 to 18 inches further aft there is a turning block. Further aft on the bottom side of the boom is an eye strap. I will assume that you have the fixed part of the lazy jack system already attached to both sides of the mast below the spreaders. The free end (both port port and starboard) of this line/wire rope should have a small block. Take one end of the 60' line and start by tying off to the port side cleat and then take the other end of that line thru the turning block and then up thru the port side block and back down to the eye strap in the track on the bottom of the boom and then up to the starboard side block and then down to the starboard side turning block and forward to the cleat. I hope that answers your question.

Not Really Hard

Look on the internet Harken as some samples or go down the Marina docks look at other boats, lines come from up on the mast or spreaders to boom spread out so when sail on boom to catch sail and holds it from falling off and neatly to tie off.
See where some pulley or loop up high and run lines down to boom maybe double loop so you have 4 or 3 spots for the lines and trial and error until it holds and catches the sail doing it at the dock than try with sail up and down, look and look at other boats see how it's done.
