My 2007 H31 has a collapsible wheel to add space to the cockpit when docked. When the wheel is folded and positioned to give the most walkabout room the rudder is cocked about 30 degrees to starboard. It seems it would be better to be dead center when anchored in current. If I remove the wheel brake there is a nut on the spindle. Is it as easy as I hope to remove this nut, pull the wheel off a spindle and reposition it? Or am I going to open a can of worms with spacers, shims etc.? Thanks, Brett

Not exactly what you will find when you remove the nut but we did have to have our wheel replaced and the dealer did it about 5 minutes. So it probably isn't too difficult tot figure out.
good luck.

I assume your wheel will have a keyway and woodruff key, or whatever it is called ( similar to the prop shaft/coupler) to keep the wheel from spinning/moving on the spindle, such that you will not be able to reposition it.

Folding Wheel

The folding wheel comes off easy after you remove the nut just a key way holding it locked in place,I removed mine after it had to be replaced under warranty.
If you have rack and pinion steering that is where you need to adjust the rudder aleignment, you could take the nut off the steering wheel and try aleignment and see where the key way is positoned.

If you have the rack & pinion steering, I thought you should be adjusting the rudder tie-rod arm i.s.o. of the steering wheel.
