My boat has a seat attached to the aft wall of the head that folds down over the toilet. I assume this was for showering. Did Hunter install this or was it an owner add-on? Does anyone really use it?

I believe that's original. Mine has the same seat. May be used for the first mate to shave her legs?

Yes Hunter did add that seat on many models and wish had one
for my H-36,I guess I could try and add one some day and add to my project
list I guess.

I have/had one of those fold down seat over the head on my H340. It is/was ugly and got in the way when I tried to use the near-by hanging locker. I removed it and the hinge, filling the screw holes with collared screws. Maybe the next owner can find some use and beauty in the thing.
