H31 Halyard

I know it has been asked but I can't find the archive I need the length and recomended dia for a forstay halyard H31. Also for those of you who hank on do you raise the head sail so as to not rub the bow pulpit? ie add a section of wire with loops to the tack? Dave

7/16" line.

If you are going to get pre-made halyards, then I would suggest that you go with their standard length which is usually about 110' x 7/16". This works for the jib & main halyards. I have all of the sizes but cannot find them right now.
