84 H31 83-87 Don't know the proper name for this part....but....it's the fitting which is rivited onto the aft of the boom and contains the shieves for the outhaul, and two reef lines. The topping lift also attaches here. Problem is...the outhaul is wire rope and has destroyed the edges of its shieve, and now the wire becomes wedged and can not be adjusted. I have checked rigrite and the part doesn't appear to be available. I have considered dremelling out what's left of the plastic sheive and just allowing the wire to run around the "axel". It looks like the shieve is made into the housing and can not be removed. If anyone has ideas, please respond. Thanks much......Gary

Which model of boom.

It would be necessary to know the manufacturer. It is called the boom end. On Isomat booms the sheaves and axel are removable and there are replacement parts at the rigrite web site. You might be able to "substitute" one of their sheaves.

Hi Gary

Replaced mind last year, got from Rig-Rite, went with the aluminum sheave part # NB1-10A. Take pressure off of the 3 and lift axle up and aft to removed sheaves Page Link (at bottom of page) http://www.rigrite.com/Spars/Isomat_Spars/Isomat_Booms/NB26_boom.html
