I need to replace the diesel fuel tank on my 1980 H30. Has anyone ever done this. I appreciate all comments.

I had a 1980 H30 with an aluminum fuel tank which I removed for cleaning. On my boat, the floor of the cockpit had a removable panel that made it easy to get the tank in and out. I would replace it with one of those plastic tanks from West Marine or Defender. If I remember correctly, the space will accomodate a slightly larger tank.
I have a repaired aluminum tank that I took out of my H30 that I would let go for $100.00. If your interested let mw know,otherwise West Marine has Moeller tanks that would fit for $160.00.
