Cheap solution. Mounted a small window unit in the panel at the foot of the quarter berth. 8000BTU/110vac. It is very easy and takes no useful space but cooling capacity during the day is marginal in FL. At night it is fine.

Add a bilge blower

I also have a '77 H30. You could add a blower to one of the stern cowls.

getting rid of heat from A/C

Peter -- actually I added a fan in the lazarette and leave the lid open when using the AC. I am not sure if the fan helps or not but the heat does find its way out pretty well. As I said this was a cheap and dirty fix. Cheers, Henry
