H290 mast wireing

There is an electric cable hanging out of the sail track on the mast. It appears to be the mast head/anchor light cable. Is this possible?

Don't know your model boat but...
Is there a light fixture on the mast top? Or, does it look like one was mounted there?
If yes, then the wire could be for it.

It is ihe mast light but what the heck would it be doing in the sail track and not inside the mast? Just can't figure that one.

PO didn't want to drop the mast to install properly, Soooo...I guess he figured it made him legal for night sailing.

Thanks for the help. As it happens, it is a cable for the VHF radio antenna! There is no VHF radio or antenna so there is still more mystery.

I had a 2001 290 and I think I remember 2 cables running on the left side and right side of the track and I think also one on a inside tube.
A lot of times Hunter would have cables in place done at the factory for future adding of equipment and that is great having a cable for VHF so you can easy add a VHF.
