Have a 1994 H29.5 that I am looking replace the main on, it's the original, and was hoping someone has had a good experience with a loft they can recommend ...

I live in Pa and sail on the Northern Chesapeake , about 3 hrs drive by car from Annapolis . Thanks

Try Bacon's Sails in Annapolis.

i have UK sails BUT I have a custom rig. The PO retro fitted a furling main. Works great with a cabin top traveler.

The hunter owner site seems to be one of the most informative when you call in to discuss the whole process...

Has anyone bought one of the Doyle sails from this site?

I bought a Doyle genoa for my h29.5 from this site about 6 mos. ago. I'm very happy with it and think it's quality is good. I think I got good, honest advice and help in picking exactly what to order and on taking measurements. I will most likely buy a new main from here when I get around to it.

On my previous boat I bought Mack sails. This was based on a booth by booth visit to all of the sail makers at the Miami boat show years ago. The big boys would hardly give me the time of day. The guys at Mack spent as much time as I wanted answering questions and probing my sailing area for details. My wife who sews liked the triple stitching.
