I have the "shoal draft" 28.5 and the cradle. On the cradle, the woody "U" shaped aft support section has rotted out and is mostly missing. Can anybody provide the dimensions or profile measurements so that I could reconstruct the "U" to proper shape. I've asked Hunter but they don't have this info!?!?!I suspect one would use the metal cradle frame (supporting the rear "U")as the baseline then there would be measures of height at 6 inch intervals stretching out from center. Also I guess I'd need the measurement from the bottom of the shoal keel to the center baseline to know how high to pad. I would get some corrugated cardboad paper roll and make a profile template, then pad out/up as needed with thick boards and then "top plate" finish with flexible thin .25" plywood/luan that would more easily take the round and tack into the thicker padding members. Please advise.
