Okay, I'm getting a late start this year ;<Just commissioned the engine and went to check the condition of the airfilter.Wow- where's the foam filter on the metal mesh???? Seems like it disintegrated!I usually wash it with dish detergent but this year there's nothing to wash. Just wanted to let others know that the foam filter seems to brake down- I hate to think where it went. Gotta go to Mack Boring Friday for a new one.Anybody else experience this little surprise?Jim McCue

Yup, had that happen

I bought my 1983 H34 last summer, and found that much of the air filter had turned to dust after a couple of months. Same thing. Replaced it and check it more regularly now.

I had the same thing happen on my 30T. I just purchased it 1 yr ago. I thought the filter was just old. I install a new several months ago.Jim
