Is anyone using a tillerpolot on a 260 or 26? If so what type and how do you like it?

Navico/Simrad TP30

I purchased and installed a Navico Corus unit on my H26 last year. I think Simard bought out Navico and the same unit is called the TP30. Look up Navico web site (Simard) and look at info on their line of autopilots. Can purchase from Defender Industries - see web site called Defenderus.com. This model is for tillers and has ability to hook up to GPS. Other units have less power and cost less. Autohelm has similiar types of autopilots. I, probably like most other users, have liked the addition of an autopilot, especially if you ever singlehand. It proves to be handy in many situations, even when motoring. Autopilots can be touchy sometimes and need adjustments, but overall one gets very spoiled when you have one on the boat. You will need mounting gear depending on where you install it. I installed mine on the cockpit floor in front of the swimladder with a pedestal and connected it to the tiller with a tiller bracket underneath the tiller. IF questions, my e-mail is Frabonimn@aol.com. Good luck
