The internal spinnaker halyard exits the starboard side of the mast, which is the same side as the main halyard. Since cleating space is limited, I'd like to move it to the port side exit by swapping with the unused jib halyard (we have roller furling for the headsail). Has anyone tried to re-route these two internal lines? I'm worried about crossing them internally and inviting chafe. Thanks for your thoughts.

Might be best to leave it on the

starboard side for it is already pretty busy on the port side with the headsail and keel. A lot of 260 owners have installed a twin jammer, the same as the port side.

Spin Halyard

Bob; I didn't have a dedicated spin halyard. I re-ran the jib halyard up through the spin sheeve. I installed a cleat on the port side of the mast about 2ft above the cabin top for the spin halyard. It works well to cleat the spin halyard at the mast, because that's where I stand when launching the chute. Good Luck
