Both are great boats
I still love my new h25. It took me a while to decide whether to buy it or a h260, as I bought the first year of the new h25 and there were still plenty of brand new h260's on the market. For me, it was the fixed shoal keel that sold me. I didn't want another boat with a retractable keel. The h260 is bigger, but easier to haul if you plan to trailer. My h25 stays in the water other than an annual haul out for cleaning, and then it is just up the hill to my house.
The h25 sails great and can be kept sailing pretty flat even in heavier winds, which allows me to keep my wife sailing with me. I have sailed it up to six knots with just the jib in high winds. With full sails in heavier winds, if you push the boat, it will round up before going over.
My boat has been fairly inexpensive as far as repairs, although I have had to have two things rewelded. Both the rudder connection weld and a strut rod weld just broke.
If you go with a h25, make sure not to skimp on the motor. The way the motor is mounted, having inboard controls and power lift are essential. I had a yamaha high thrust 8hp installed on mine.
