I am looking at purchasing an H260 - water ballast. I want teh water ballast as I intend to trailer a lot. I live in Orlando. I am only 4 to 5 hours from the keys, 1.5 hours from Tampa Bay, 2 hours from Sarasota, 1 hour from the Atlantic (sail on the Indian/Banana rivers typically). Most trips will be weeknds for two, the odd week long endeavor will occur but not too many. Question is: Should I spring for the marine head or is the porta potti sufficient, or even better? All I read about marine heads is how to keep them from being big problems maintenance wise etc. The porta potti is simple if nothing else. What's the capacity issue? You don't use much fluid in a porta potti but the head holding tank is bigger. Etc. etc. Any comments, thoughts, or guidance will be greatly appreciated.

Super-Sanipottie...

If you need more capacity and don't want to install the whole rigamarole, you can "step-up" from Sanipottie's traditional Portable Head or their dischargeable Portable/Permanent head (both 5+ gallons)to a SeaLand Marine Traveler Head (9.5 gallons) which has a regular-size china bowl and a regular 1-1/2 discharge hose fitting and a vent hose fitting built-in to its attached one piece holding tank. (about $400.00)
