Does anyone know a good place to purchase a Dodger for a 260?

AmeriSeam

AmeriSeam makes the dodger on my ‘98 H26. No complaints – but I would start with HOW site and give them the support.

Dodger on a H26?

John, I would love to see a picture of the dodger. I have a 94' H26 and have been trying to figure out how it would look and function considering that we have a high cabin top without a walkway aroung the cabin top. How do you get around the dodger when underway or if you have to go forward in rough seas. Agian can you post a picture I love to see it. I would also like to talk to you about the cost and performance with the dodger. Carl s/v Wind Shadow

Dodger (not exactly)

What I have is not what I'd call a dodger, which normally covers the full width of the cabin. As you suggest, such a dodger would pose access problems on a boat with no side decks. Instead, the companionway canvas covers the opening only. It goes over the hinged cover in the tilted-up position, has an aluminum frame to support the aft end (the frame fits in the holes in the slide rails) and has transparent side curtians which snap to the cabin top around the edges of the companionway opening. I don't use mine very often, and never while underway (it really restricts vision forward.) Sorry, I don't have a picture.

PopTop

John, Thanks for the reply, it is called a poptop. It works pretty good when on the hook on rainy days. I thought that is what you had but needed to ask. Carl s/v Wind Shadow
