H260 Centerboard Line Replacement rod thread size

According to Pat Adams in this thread found at the info section for Hunter 260's

He states "Buy a 12" long threaded rod that will thread into the centerboard bracket".
What I am wondering is does anyone know the thread size that would be needed for such a rod ?
That way I could go to my local marina lift and have all the tools and parts ready to get the job done quickly (1 to 2 hours) for a normal lift charge.

Pull the Bolt Out and Take it With You to Get the Rod

When I did mine I made the line real loose undid the bolt holding the bracket up and then lifted the boat up off the trailer. it took a bit of coaxing to get it to release.

To reinstall it I set the board on the trailer and lowered the boat onto it used the line to pull it up into place and reattached the bolt.

It went back up easily two friends lifted it and I put bolt in from top side .

Hi ! Everyone seem to have no problems to release the board???
When you say "coaxing" what should I expect ??? I try to remove it last year when the boat was 4 feet in the air , and it never went down ! Any cues ??

Not Alot of Force

But it was in there tight and the silicone held it pretty good
