Has anybody experienced problems with the bow eye/ubolt (where winch attaches) getting loose or working free. Is there an easy way to get this tightened up and how do I go about doing it Any thoughts / insights would be appreciated
This u-bolt has a backing plate and two nuts that will allow you to tighten it up. if it has in fact come loose you can add some lock thight or silicone to keep them from loosing again. The other alternative is that there has been too much stress/load put on the u-bolt and some of the fiberglass resin has broken away in which case you should remove the whole assembly and reinforce that area before reinstalling.
