Magic Tilt

Contact the How store and inquire. Do not use an aftermarket for fear of damage to the hull. the current Magic Tilt trailer for the 260 will work. Crayzy DAve

Dave you must be a magic tilt salesman, or one who belives everything he is told. Some one had to come up with the idea of putting a hunter 26 on a trailer, I'm going to do it but if anyone out there has done it, I would like your opinion as to the best way.

Ouch!

Guy You asked for an opinion, and you got one! You may not get many more if you blast all the senders. And it was sound advise. I've seen what mismatched boards can do to a hull! Good luck with your project.

Benefit from someone else's efforts

Guy, You are right that someone else has gone through the process of putting an H26 on a trailer. Doesn't it stand to reason that Hunter would have done the most thorough job of getting a trailer to do a good job of hauling their new warranteed boats? The price of the Magic Tilt trailers for the h26/h260s is about $3300.00. This is a reasonable price for the size and quality of the trailer and the fact that it has been designed and set up specificly to haul your particular boat. I have both made and modified a lot of equipment, but have only found it practical to do so when none was commercially available. It is practical to take advantage of their engineering and production advantages. Just MHO, Joe

For Guy, Butch and Phil

Guy- If you don't want an answer, don't ask a question. Butch- It is my understanding that this forum is not for the use of selling...something for which Crazy Dave has shown proper respect. Phil- Maybe this thread should be blown out.

Couldn't agree more

Butch's post has been deleted (and I'll follow that up with him), but Guy will be left to stew in his own juices. I thought Dave's advice was good. Hey, not all threads can be as good as 'coffee brewing.' :)
