H26 Trailer Questions

I learned how to painlessly extend the trailer for my H26 at this site, which has really helped, so here goes again with a couple more trailer type questions; 1) When loading the boat on the trailer, sometimes the centerboard ends up not exactly in the center of the trailer. There are two boards on the trailer that are suppose to support the belly of the boat on either side of the centerboard, I try to get the centerboard right in the center of them. Maybe it doesn't have to be there exactly, but I try. Anyway, most of the time I have to go back into the water with the boat and trailer, then pull or heel the boat to one side or the other, while someone pull us back out of the water again. Then I check to see if the centerboard is in the center of the trailer, if not I repeat the process again. If the centerboard is not exactly between the two trailer boards, it just springs the trailer board it is sitting on down. Maybe it is not a problem, but it doesn't look like it is healthy for the boat or trailer. Does anyone else worry about this and should I? What do I do about it? 2) The second thing is getting the boat all the way up to the bow support. When the boat and trailer are in the water I winch the boat up as tight as I can stand. However, when the combination is out of the water the bow of the boat has risen relative to the trailer which leaves the boat a couple of inches from the bow support. You can tighten the winch as tight as you can but you can't move the boat forward on the trailer when it is out of the water. After you have driven some and made several stops the boat has a tendency to move forward, but as luck would have it the front of the boat usually misses the bow support and ended up beside the support. The result is the support knocks chunks out of the front of the boat. How do you all get the boat the last couple of inches forward on the trailer? Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks a lot for your help. Keep your sails full, Dean "Chateau de Vent"
