H26 Roller Furler issues

Ever since Covid that sailing was not permitted in Panama its been one issue aftwr another with my boat.
Once again I have to I guess step the mast.
But do I?

Can I get the furler down to inspect the swivel without lowering the mast?

When I get to the swivel is there a lubrication solution?

It is royal pain in the butt working on a boat in this part of the world in the heat and humidity.

No lubrication is used. Flush with fresh water.
You do not have to lower the mast if you can climb the mast, otherwise you will have to lower the mast since as soon as you disconnect the forstay pin the mast will fall backwards.
