H26 Mast electrical

Here are two pictures that the previous owner had done. There are to separate wires running down the mast. One has a trailer connecter holding the two wires together. Can you bring the two wires together and use a four prong connecter? This way it won't look so messy.

We have a H-33.5 and have Anchor light, Steaming light, and 2 spreader lights (for deck illumination). I combine the + for both spreaders, and all the - wires to give a total of 4 wires (+ Anchor, + Steaming, + Spreader, and - (common) ). these go to a 4 prong Cole Hersee connector - it is a round connector with 4 prongs in a square arrangement. Three prongs are brass and one is tin lead coated (I use that for - 12V). The two connector peices just plug in to one another and a good tape wrap over the joint and it works fine.

Whatever you do your electrics are unlikely to be reliable because neither of the existing connectors appear to be waterproof.
It is not recommended to combine the co-axial VHF antenna lead with other wires so you are into two connectors anyway.
There are several waterproof deck connectors on the market.

Best solution would have been to fit a waterproof deck gland, bring the mast cables through it, and then use the existing connectors on the inside under the mast step, concealing them in the headlinings.
Now that the mast wires have been cut to length this route may be denied to you.
Extending them by making soldered splices all insulated with self amalgamating tape would work but look untidy and liable to damp ingress and physical damage.
