I thought I posted my problem yesterday but I can not find it..oh well
The halyard is wrapping around the furler. Can I assume it is the swivel? I guess it means stwpping the mast or is there another way? The stay it serves as is fixed to the mast I must assume. That unless I can move the boat near a roof where I can reach the swivel or stay connection there is no other way to fix this problem. Yes I would need a line acting as a stay to make sure the mast does not fall.
