I am about to spend a fair amount of money on a custom cover for our H26. It sits on a lot behind our home for 7 months each year. Tarps are expensive and only last one or two seasons. Shrink wrap makes me nervous, and won't allow access in the off season. There is only one well known boat cover shop in the area. They say the best material to use is an 11oz polyester, with built UV inhibitors. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Snap-on cover

My H-26 has a snap-on cover that goes from the mast to the cockpit sole, wings out to cover the instruments mounted to the right of the companionway. The cover is made of Sunbrella, with stainless steel snaps about every eight inches. I have another cover for the forward windows that also snaps on. Good luck
