H240 craneing in & out

I have just bought a H240 & was wondering if anyone has used a craine to launch & retrieve. I am asking this because our sailing club has no slip but we do own a 50 ton craine . any tips on lifting points positioning of strops between rigging greatfully recieved .Thanks in advance Jimbops its going in by crane anyway so i will post if sucessfull GULP !

marked strap points

There are marked points for straps on my 98 240. I imagine these line up with interior strong points to keep the hull flex minimal.Ken

The "lift markers" on my 240 are in the wrong spot - be careful! The guy who runs my yard pointed it out the first time he put the boat on the travel lift. If I recall, the proper place for straps is at the bulkhead point forward and about mid-cockpit aft. Call Hunter if you have any doubts whatsoever!!!
