Hoping to draw on some knowledge from those more clued up than me if possible...
I have some water ingress at the base of the compression post. The boat is on the trailer so it's coming in from above.. my best guess is the keel haul line is wicking water in, does this sound plausible?
is there a way to resolve this?
The base of the post is sitting in damp and has started to rot.
I'd obviously would prefer not to replace the post if I can help it but I know it's an important part of the structural integrity. Also don't want to replace it and still have the same issue...
Any advice on what's causing it and how I recitfy it?
