You have come to the right place my friend! There are people here who know more about this boat than you could imagine. I know...I was in your shoes a year ago. All you need to do is address a specific issue and then step back quick, because the answers come back fast!!I would also suggest that you read the archives for posts and articles on the H23. I guess basically I am wanting to learn the best way to set up the boat for single handed sailing on area lakes. I am very new to sailing so any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated....Joe

Rudder

The single best improvement I've made on my 86 H23 was a bungee around the rudder & housing to hold the rudder as 'in' as possible.
