I've been noticing that since it's been about 20-30 degrees in the water here (boat is IN water too !) that I get maybe an inch under each floorboard, right where the keel bolts are. Is this condensation, as I don't remember seeing it there a month ago ?

Troubleshooting

I have had a similar experience on my H23, when I noticed water around the keel bolts while the boat was out of the water. Such water could get there in a number of ways: from poorly sealed stay/deck fittings, condensation, leaky companionway, etc. I've narrowed mine down to either condensation or a leaky hatch (although I suspect the former). I figured that by placing a UV resistant tarp over my plexiglass companionway hatch, I could lower the temperature differential between my cabin and keel. I have not had water since using the tarp. However, it is possible that the tarp is covering a leak somewhere. The problem is that I'm not close enough to my boat to check on it daily, to know when it rained at the marina, etc. I only had moisture, though. It sounds like you have a significant amount of water. I'd be inclined to look harder for a leak somewhere. I do know that the grooves under the companionway cover are designed to catch water when it rains, and if the rain is heavy, they could then easily spill over into the cabin. Good luck! - Kris Cox

Water at keel

It's only about 1" at most...it appears that the water is coming from those tiny holes next to the keel bolts...
