Hi guys question; Owners manual states to wash "acylics" surface * Im assuming there meaning fiberglass boat", with mild detergent. It also says to wax yearly as minimum in fresh water , and more often in salt conditions.

Please share with me your cleaning boat decks and surfaces ideals...txs in advance mark<><

My first recommendation is a pressure washer for the no-skid areas. What use to take 4 hours + on hands and knees with a scrub brush and Soft Scrub now takes less than an hour.

I've always used one of the Teflon Polishes on the hull and topsides once a year, but I've never used any kind of was or polish on the decks or cockpit for fear of creating slippery surfaces under foot.

Now that we are in a marina, I've been using a product called "Roll Off", which was recommended at a marine store, for removing the bird droppings which accumulate on deck. It seems to work well on all but a couple of the most stubborn.

We are in fresh water.
