Need help on running cable on the new antenna to the VHF. Original layout brought the cable in through the stern buldhead and up under the cockpit into the aft cabin, and along side under the wall cloth to the VHF. Can it be done another way, and if so, tell me how. Tks for this forum!

Location, location...

It would help to know where your antenna is mounted and where your transceiver (VHF radio) is located.

I found the answer

After climbing under the cockpit with with a better light everything became clear...and it will be no problem to get the wire pulled through. Lifting up the mattress, behold, an access opening, and the rest was easy! Live and learn!!!

VHF

The VHF radio is line of sight and the higher the antenna, the further you will pick up and reach out. YOu may want to consider this.
