I have 
recently removed my orginal split teak wood motor mount board. It measured 2x6x17.5 inch.The "crack" was very near all the way through the board. One side allowed us to "open the wood board" to put in a large amount of glue. We wipped off excess.
I used Gorilla Glue as recomended here previously ,and it is presently in C - clamps as glue dries.
Quiestion: After sanding ,what type finish do I need to use to restore it to the beautiful orgiinal finish The old finish can be seen on the bottom of this board.
Thanks in advance guys....wish I had my boat out of winterization today as it got to 60 degrees..lol
