Does anyone have any advice to setting up a trailer for a swing keel h22? I bought a double axle easyloader that puts the weight way to far forward. I am wanting to set up a single axle trailer with bunk boards. There is a pic on the site that shows Bad Obsession on something like I am trying to achieve. Any help would be awesome...thanks.

Is the trailer not adjustable? I've seen many

that had the framing for the wheels moveable. Also, one could vary the length of the tongue as well to achieve proper balance and tongue weight. IMHO, a tandem axle is a much better setup and if you can make it work, you'll be better off.

Move the wheels!?

Usually, you just move the bow support back. The bunks / rollers should go all the way to the back of the trailer regardless - its not considered good to have the transom hanging very far off. If it's welded in place, cut it off and have brackets made to move it back. You might need to add a new member to give it a place to go, but either way it isn't too complicated. -On the plus side, having a long tounge (with proper tounge weight) is much better than a short tounge with proper tounge weight. Tows much better.

I agree with...

having the double axle but between the weight of that and the boat I push my towing capacity. Also, about moving the sections, I've moved some and raised the rollers but it doesn't leave enough height for the keel. I'm beginning to think that the best solution is to convert the trailer to a bunk board set up.
