H216 Spinnaker - OverLoad? w/Pics

Took my 216 down for the season and was removing mast hardware. Found that my Spinnaker halyard block was torquing out of its rivets on the mast. I was out in some heavy breeze a few times, but did not expect the metal to fatigue. Any others have similar experience? Looks like I will have to drill out the rivets and remount. Maybe use some stainless strapping on either side.

Any others have problems like this? If so what did you do for solution other than go out in lighter air. Coincidently, I did have the boat clocked at going 8.0 knots down wind on the GPS this summer. That may have done it.

A picture is worth a thousand........... Can you post one?
Seems to me that if any part of the spinnaker sheave or the exit box is being damaged there is an inherent flaw in the design of the or placement of the gear.
