I've seen a Hunter 19 at the boat ramp at the local lake. I think it was a 1994 model in excelent condition. I have a H18 that is a 1989 model that Ive owned for 1.5 years now and really love it. I think that the 19 replaced the 18 and now the choice for a small pocket cruiser is in the 22 ft range. I like the 18 because of the wing keel. I need 30 or so inches of water which is not bad. If I run aground' all I do is jump out and give it a push and I,m on my way. The cabin is a little tight but plenty of room for overnite or a weekend sail at the lakes. Good luck' RJ

calling all H19 owners

Just looking to see if there are many hunter 19's (1983) still out on the water. I just started to sail and I am looking for someone with another 19 who can give me a few tip's. Basiclly I have one question: I seem to be taking on water in the cabin area. The two wooden acsess panels on the center board are always wet. I removed them and resealed them but I seem to still get water seep in. If anybody has a fix to my problem please write me at Trooper4ever@cs.com

Another Greenwood Lake Sailor

I have a Hunter 26 on Greenwood Lake and would be happy to help you in any way. I don't know anything about the H19 except that I believe I know your boat. It was kept at the same marina as mine and was sailed quite often and always seemed to be a great boat. If you would like to contact me I am listed in the owners directory on this site. Always looking for more Hunter sailors on the lake. Good luck with your new boat. Bob s/v Gravyboat
