H 426/44/45 Generator

I have a Hunter 44AC that dos not have a generator installed and am considering installing one - I understand one can fit under the chart table seat.

Can anyone tell me what make and model will fit under there and also has anyone retrifitted one - if so is there anything to be aware of

44AC Generator

My 2005 44AC has a Fischer Panda 6 Kw unit installed under the chart table seat. The electric fuel pump and the Racor strainer are in the engine compartment. Need to take the seat and frame apart to do any maintenance other than change the oil but that is not difficult to do. The generator comes in a hard suitcase type sound enclosure

thanks for the quick response - I dont suppose you know the model number of the Fischer panda - also did it come from Hunter installed - or did you have it installed after the fact

Fisher panda

I have a fisher Panda 4200 in my 2007 H-36 and had a choice of dealer or factory to install and had it installed at the factory.
I think hunter can help you out with info also look on internet for fisher panda authorized in florida who always has been very helpful with parts and tech support.
Lots info fisher panda on the internet to buy and also service manuals,you need to get some one who knows how to install the wiring auto switching and all parts of installing.

Was part of the original installation from Hunter. I'll get the model number when I am at the boat this weekend.

My 426 has a Fischer Panda PMS6000ND. It will run the boats entire electrical load at a fuel burn rate of about 1 quart per hour. It is installed under the Nav Station seat in a fiberglass sound capsule. You should be able to download the install and operating manuals on line.
