Hunter 376 Marina del Rey
Hello everyone.

I'm a Southern California native and have lived within 10 miles of the beach for most all but about 2 years of my life. For the last 11 years my wife and I have lived in Marina del Rey.

I've been surfing, scuba diving, free diving, sailing and power boating for, roughly, 50 years. Boating has been coastal.

We bought a 1997 Hunter 376 last July. She's a beauty, but it is time to replace the 18 year old navigation electronics. An I want to replace them with something that fits. She is much too nice to have cobbled up installations.

Any thoughts?

Thank you.

I have the same boat over at Sun Harbor. The problem is you can't replace the binnacle. I retro fit a Simrad Nss7 with broadband radar. I only removed the depth indicator and left everything else as is. I was able to move things around so there are no patches or ugly repairs. I did run the cable for the new depth transponder but there is a conduit built in that comes up behind the shelf in the aft berth. The old Garmin at the nag station is still tied to the auto pilot. Send me an email and I will send you some pictures next time I am over. We live in Tucson.
