H 37.5 rudder stop angle

My new to us 94 37.5 does not turn on a dime like every other boat I've owned or steered. I became aware of this bringing the boat into a slip for an overnight stop when we were bringing it home. Rather embarrassing and it elicited unneeded docking advice from the boat next door.

It will turn in maybe two boat lengths, where most boats will spin in their own length.

Are all 37.5s like this, or are my rudder stops in the wrong place?

I can't respond for all 37.5s, but our 95 37.5 won't turn in its boat length. I'd say it carves its turn in about 1 1/2 boat lengths though. Enjoy your boat. We have had a great time on ours for 13 years!
