The light on the AC power switch on the control panel on my H-34 does not go on any longer when the switch is turned to the on position (switch does work okay). I removed the screws and looked inside and found the name Bass Products in Vermont. I cannot find them on the net. I would like to replace the light. Has anyone done this? Any ideas? Thanks. epola73922@aol.com

Similar lights

if it is the same panel as in my 83 h34, I found similar lights at a couple of different places. one was in a Marine Hardware catalog that Steveston Marine in Vancouver, B.C. supplied the second was in a Newark electronics supply catalog. In both cases they were about $6 Canadian and I bought mine from Steveston. They popped in the same 5/16" hole and have a slight shoulder around the light. The difference is hardly noticable. If you want more info email me at langlink@yellowhead16.net Eric Linklater "Worlds Away"

AC Light

I replaced my AC indicator lights with ones I purchased from Radio Shack. They work fine.

Control panel indicator lights

It's a breeze. I had the same problem with several lights out on the control panel on my Hunter 34 . West Marine carries a 5/16th red indicator bulb which works just fine. The bulb and sleeve are one integral unit, so it's necessary to remove the plastic sleeve that holds the factory bulb in place. (easily done with needle nose pliers). Just push the new indicator bulb through the 5/16th hole on the panel from the outside and connect the wires. The snug fit is all that's necessary to keep it in place. They look and work great. Cost is about $4.00 per bulb. If you need the part number you can e-mail me at sailstar34@aol.com. good luck
