Hunter 82? 37 Cutter Wherever the wind takes me
good question, i've been thinking about doing that in mine. I don't think it would be too difficult, especially under one of the settees, or maybe the cabinet under the stove. I imagine the hardest part would be running the ducting up to the v-berth. I'll be watching this thread with interest. I currently use a portable a/c with the hose running out a port, but I don't know if the 79 had the fixed or opening ports. May not hurt to post this in the Cherubini Hunter forum.

There are some very knowledgeable H27 owners over on the Cherubini forum. They will have the best ideas. My 12K Mermaid took the space of a standard cardboard box less one inch in height. It fit nicely on a shelf in a cabinet. My interior space is small compared to the newer boats so I elected to have no duct work. I did not want to lose storage space to ducts running through cabinetry. Mine blows directly into the salon under the nav table. Sometimes on really hot nights I would use a fan to direct more air into the v-berth. One of those that clamps on a bulkhead.
