Quick question: Is there an embedded aluminum plate in the sole for the Porta-Potty anchor screws? My existing screws stripped out and I need to replace with next larger size. Thanks, BrianW

I spoke with Crazy Dave on the phone. He advised that there was no aluminum plate under the Porta-Potty. He advised using one size larger wood screw to anchor the brackets. Thanks CDC! BrianW

Should Go Without Saying

Be careful how long your new screw is.

A while back there was more than one poster who had the screws from the bracket go into the ballast tank.

Thanks Rick! Just using 1/2" long screws. I gauged the ballast tank below with with an ice pick. I've got at least another 1/2" to spare. BrianW

Just for the record...... are the only stock locations over the ballast tank that uses screws the Porta-Potty and the bilge pump? BrianW
