I have often stared at the 2 access panels on the "ceiling" of the stern berth and wondered they are for, but have been too lazy to take a screwdriver and open them up and take a peek. One of the panels is about 12" X 12" and the other is about 3"X3". Could someone please save me the trouble and tell me what they're for? BrianW

Just Guessing

one is for the ring for your mainsheet the other is for the pedestal on those boats with one.

That is where I stash the receipts for all the boat things I did not tell my wife I bought.

Just Occured to Me

Why are you the one looking up and why are you focused on that instead of what your supposed to be doing?

Just asking.

Lover vs. Wife

Why are you the one looking up and why are you focused on that instead of what your supposed to be doing?

Just asking.
That reminds me of an old joke: What's the difference between a lover and a wife? While rocking the boat from the inside, a lover screams "faster!.... faster!!.... faster!!!..... A wife exclaims, "I wonder what those access panels on the ceiling are for?"

Of course, naturally, MY admiral is excluded from the above.
