Has anyone adjusted the height of the trailer side bunks because they were too low and a lot !!!! of the weight is on the centerboard? I noticed that the board in the middle of the trailer has cracked and worped big time under the weight of the centerboard (as much as it can between the metal supports). Once when putting the boat on the trailer the centerboard missed the center support wood and with the boat on the trailer with a bit of a heal (strong cross tide that day, yuk!) the centerboard was about 1-1.5" lower than the middle support wood on the trailer. Thus a lot of the boats weight is on the board and not the side bunks. I have a stress crack on the top side in the front gutter by the mast which seems associated with this centeralized pressure. thanks

Ugh

If that is the case, you need to adjust the bunk board supports upward as the centerboard should only rest on that board. Take care of this now.

Me Too!

I have a '94 23.5 and I also noticed a small hairline crack near my mast base AND observed similar bowing in my boards on the centerline of the trailer under the center board. I will have to look at how I can adjust the side bunks up slightly. I guess they have just settled a little over the years. Thanks Dave and Wayne.
