I have an 1986 Hunter 23. The stock winch and handle has a push button on the top and a ball detent in the bottom as a lock. Most of these on ebay have a square piece on the bottom that rotate as a lock. Does anyone know what make the original ones are? And where they can be purchased? Thanks, John

I have two winch handles on my boat. Neither is stock, but they fit the sockets on the stock Barient winches just fine. If memory serves me correctly, winch sockets are one standard size. The Chandlery at HOW has a couple of winch handles at excellent prices. I have one of each. The square one will fit the winch on the mast, but will not lock in. I haven't tried the jib winches. May just be crud in the winch socket on the mast. Thanks, all
