gulfstar sailmaster 47

i have been looking at buying a sailmaster 47. the one i am interested in is named 'Claudie". she is currently in stockton, ca. does anyone know anything about this boat?
also do the 47 sailmasters have any serious inbred problems? you know, stuff like bottom blisters and electrical problems.
there really isn't much literature about them on the web that i have found. does anyone have an owners manual for a 47 sailmaster? i am curious if the hull is cored.
any info would be a great help.

Great boats. Core deck; hull solid glass. Some blisters every now and then. Never had any problems with electric. Took off the ketch mast because there is no compression post below it. (It can be beefed up if you want). Let me know what else I can answer for you.
I'm sitting on my 47 right now, anchored in Isla Mujeres (Cancun), Mexico as I write you this.

Can't tall you much about them. My dad had a 39 Sailmaster that he lived on for 5 years. I wasn't into sailing at the time so I don't have any knowledge on her construction but I can tell you she was a lot of fun to sail when it was blowing. Very heavy and seaworthy. I wish I had bought her.
