Gulfstar 44 centre cockpit

We are considering buying a Gulfstar 44 to cruise from Auckland NZ to the Pacific Islands. Would be keen to hear about suitability or otherwise of Gulfstar 44 for this type of trip. Looks a good boat to us but have received negative comments about Gulfstar. Any info greatly appreciated!

i was just testing the respond in the prev reply, we love our boat, but need to sell her for health reasons, look at all i did to remodle the boat, my solor panels are the best, now we do not have to use the gen, except for ac and to cook, we have an electric stove, the only thing that i would change is the stove to a gas stove, the beem in 15 foot and very stable, it handle 20 to 30 k wind heading into the wind, it love high seas, if you have and qoustions please look at my add, my phone number is listed on the add, bill
