Nina

Saw her when she was here a fews yrs back. paid the admission fee but could only stand on deck. below decks is crew quarters and off limits. Still , i wanted to contribute to the cause. last time i saw here , the captain was seeking crew for trip up river. Would be a great ride im sure. Take a look see if you can.

World Traveler

The Nina is truly a world traveler. It must have been more than ten years ago I saw her on the Arkansas River in Little Rock. Seems the crew was none too happy about the lack of ATONS on the every shifting river; but they made it there. If you are within a couple hours drive it is worth the experience. It will make you realize how brave (or crazy) those early sailors were in 1492. If you go, eat some shrimp for me!

Took one of the crew sailing

The Nina was in Peoria this summer. We sailed along side and invited some of the crew to sail with us. Ended up taking Ken out for a few hours on our O'Day 23. If you visit the Nina tell Ken and James the Peoria sailors say Hi.
