Guidelines for Recuts vs. Replacements?

What do you consider when advising a customer? Also, I don't hear much about recutting head sails compared to mains. Any reason? Thanks for participating. RD

Recuts

There has been alot of discussion about recutting headsails. There is no reason not to add life and reshape an old genoa. I guess people spend more time looking at the main than the genoa? Generally if the fabric is in good condition and will be able to maintain the new shape there is no reason not to recut. Mark
