Getting rid of mine
The info in the previous post is pretty accurate for my H430. Mine drew between 6-8 amps after the initial spike during startup. This may not include the power required for the pump however. They have good documentation located here as well as other useful info:http://www.marineair.com/pdfs/L-2146.pdfI got sick of mine leaking R404 and a $3500 estimate to fix it and decide to refit with a NovaKool AC/DC RFU-9000 self contained unit. It was a bear to remove and I am in the process of rebuilding the woodwork, but so far no regrets. Lots more usable space and only draws 1 Amp connected to shore.A few things I noticed-lots of mildew and mold in the floorboards under the unit from constant moisture.the foam insulation around the box was completely saturated with liquid, likely making it very poorly insulated. If you need parts, let me know (stevethoma@yahoo.com). I have the two cold plates and the compressor removed. (I was told the leak was coming from a flare fitting - and it ran for about 6 months after being recharged).
